Brewing coffee creates coffee grounds. Roasting coffee beans also creates a material that is now often considered residual waste; the coffee bean husk, or silverskin. Instead of throwing this material away, Coffee Based uses it as raw material for the Cafea Cup. Thus, they reduce waste and the use of virgin materials and reuse more and more materials from the coffee chain.
