Every year, we drink around 12 billion cups of coffee in the Netherlands and produce around 100 million kilos of coffee grounds. This often ends up in the waste bin. Instead of throwing away this valuable residue, Coffee Based uses it as a raw material for our products.
When coffee is brewed, coffee grounds are created. Roasting coffee beans also creates a material that is now often considered residual waste; silverskin. Instead of throwing this material away, it is used as raw material for Cafea bookmarks. In this way, Coffee Based reduces waste and the use of virgin materials and reuses more and more materials from the coffee chain.

Choose from two unique designs: the deep, dark Arabica Black or the elegant Cafea Silverskin. Each bookmark is made with recycled coffee grounds or coffee bean silverskin, making them not only practical but also stylish with a distinctive texture. So you combine style with sustainability, perfect for any reading session.
